This week at La Paloma Elementary, the LAP Leadership Assembly was full of energy, excitement, and a dash of Nintendo nostalgia! Faculty and staff hosted a special Spirit activity—a live-action Mario Kart Race—to the delight of students across campus.
Dressed as some of Nintendo’s most iconic characters, including Mario, Luigi, superheroes, and more, teachers and staff took to their tricycles and raced around the quad. The event created an electrifying atmosphere, with students cheering on their favorite racers and enjoying the lighthearted competition.
Beyond the laughter and entertainment, this activity held an important educational and social value.
